After reviewing the current cat-back systems available for the 7th gen Maxima, AAM Competition researched and designed the perfect cat-back exhaust hitting every aspect of an exhaust any enthusiast would ask for; style, sound, and quality. AAM Competition Maxima cat-back is a direct bolt on application starting from a 3” mid-pipe that splits to a 2.5” rear section which is topped with adjustable polished tips or titanium tips. After numerous trial and error, we finalized the design of the exhaust to be heard without having to dread the excessive road drone. This system is TIG welded in house with use of all T-304 stainless steel piping and flanges. AAM Competition Maxima cat-back sheds about 4lbs over the stock system, where other competitors exhaust weigh MORE than the stock system. All AAM Competition exhaust are made in the USA and come complete with hardware to make it a true bolt on.
