New year, new format, new content, new racecar. Happy 2016!

After closing out the 2015 season with racing in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill for Nissan Motorsport team CA Sport, the winter months have been all about setting up for the 2016 season, and beyond. But before we jump into that, first of all I want to thank my partners, the team and everyone who supports me. It means more than I can describe! This includes everyone who supported and still supports from back home in Sweden too.

2015 had highlights with racing in the VLN Series at the Nurburgring, and the 25 hours of Thunderhill. The latter was actually one of my favorite races in several years, it was a race in extremely challenging conditions, with 14 hours of darkness and 11 hours of rain, but it felt so good to be racing really hard with a great team and it really got me fired up, but like most racedrivers I want a championship opportunity rather than one-off races. That always comes down to a number of factors such as timing, connections, sponsor network, and this is where we are at this stage of the “silly season”:

I’ve been and am currenly working on two racing programs. Luckily there are no schedule conflicts or brand conflicts between these two programs, they complement eachother nicely.

One is slightly complex to get started business-wise and is a little bit like a start-up but everything is there from product to logistics, sales and marketing. The target is clear: First we setup a sustainable financial platform and once it’s up and running we will grow it through racing in the Pirelli World Challenge. The target is to compete in a Nissan 370Z Nismo with CA Sport, how soon is still too early to say but people are hard at work to make this a long-term deal. We are open to additional partnerships, PWC is attractive with a CBS Sports TV package that reaches 58 million households and the league has a really good livestream production with global reach, it’s a remarkable marketing platform. If interested in this, contact me for the partnership presentation.

The other racing program got set a few weeks ago and I am really stoked about it. The first race is in March. The team is extremely dedicated, the car has all the ingredients to speed up the heartrate of driver and racefans; fast, big motor, sequntial gearbox, wide racing slicks and it is a visually exciting and physically demanding car. Details and photos will be revealed in a few weeks when pre-season testing beings. The competition is also very fast so it will definitely not be a walk in the park but this team has won championships and wants to keep winning, and strong competition makes for exciting championships. Stay alert for dates and details of this special #TeamChampion racing assault!

That’s it for now, short and sweet.
