DENNIS MATTINSON’S 370Z NISMO

DENNIS MATTINSON’S 370Z NISMO
Name: Dennis Mattinson
Year: 2011
Make: Nissan
Model: Nismo 370z
Hometown: Lone Pine, CA
When Dennis came to us with his brand new Nismo 370z, he wanted to make his suspension a little more comfortable, yet not lose any performance…the solution was simple…he really can have both with the KW V3 Coilovers.  He paired those with a set of Hotchkis Sway bars and SPC adjustable arms and now he’s got a better ride and performance ready for the track!

We asked Dennis a few questions about himself and his ride:

Tell us about your build, how have you modified it?  2011 Nismo #0128 / Brilliant Silver / SPC Full Camber Kit Front & Rear / German Made KW V3 Shocks, Height Adjustable with Damping Technology and Individually Adjustable for Rebound & Compression / Hotchkis Front & Rear Sway Bars/ GT-R Start Button / Forged Performance Shift Knob / Custom Overflow Tank.
Coke or Pepsi?  Neither, wine instead.
What’s your favorite modification and why? KW V3’s which turned a great sports car into a monster.
If you were in a spaceship traveling at the speed of light, and you flipped on the headlights…would anything happen?  I’d pass right by my lights.
Do you regret any of your mods? No.
What did you have for Breakfast this morning?  This morning I had Peet’s coffee in a press pot with aged Java, homemade bread and blackberry jam.
Where is your favorite place to drive?  Best place to drive is on the flat, smooth asphalt roads of the Eastern Sierra, CA.
When you were a kid and you didn’t want to eat something, did you secretly feed it to your dog?  Heck no, I like my dog, so I gave it to my sister.
Do you enjoy your job? What do you do? I’ve got a great job as Director of Environmental Programs.
Who is the boss in your house?  House duties balanced 50 / 50 my wife and myself; I do the outside and she does the inside.
If you could drive your vehicle on any track in the world, where would you take it?  Nuremberg Germany
If you won $10,000 dollars in a lottery, what would you do with it?  Why, spend it on my Nismo of course.
How awesome is NissanRaceShop.com and Fontana Nissan? Fontana Nissan is unreal.  Fontana Nissan has awesome service in every respect. These folks really care about you as a customer.
Is the world really going to end this year? If you live day to day it doesn’t matter.
Why do today what you can put off till tomorrow? Answer is same as above.
What’s your favorite thing to do that is non-automotive related? Drink great wine and listen to Jazz.
If you could have done your build differently, what would you have done?Everything is good.
